  111.   The single Capital Gainz distribution can be installed as either
  112.   the evaluation version or the registered version. To install the
  113.   registered version, you must enter valid values for the following
  114.   items during the installation dialog: Registration Number, User
  115.   Name, Code. These are all either provided electronically or
  116.   listed on your printed Invoice, and are specific to the version
  117.   being installed (i.e., the Code for Version 5.2. is not the same
  118.   as the code for subsequent versions). The entered values must
  119.   match the assigned values exactly.

  134.   If your are installing a registered version of  Capital Gainz
  135.   over a prior version, your data files will be upgraded as
  136.   necessary. You should have a current backup available at this
  137.   point - if not, you are given the opportunity to back up your
  138.   data prior to the upgrade process.

  140.   The data file upgrade facility is not included in the evaluation
  141.   version of Capital Gainz. Thus, you can not install an evaluation
  142.   version of Capital Gainz over a prior version.

  144.   An order form can be generated directly from Capital Gainz, via

  147.   All documentation is available as online Windows Help files. This
  148.   allows for context-sensitive help, hypertext links, powerful

  151.   Automated Downloading:

  153.   Automated download support is no longer included in Capital
  154.   Gainz. See the online help for options on importing downloaded
  155.   prices. A simple script based terminal emulator is included in
  156.   the file CGTERM.ZIP on one of the disks, along with sample
  157.   scripts to retrieve prices from CompuServe. This is similar to
  158.   the terminal emulator included with prior versions of Capital
  159.   Gainz for Windows. To use this program, UNZIP the archive to a
  160.   directory on your hard disk, then read the online help file,
  161.   CGTERM.HLP, for instructions. This program is unsupported.

  163.   Known Problems:
  164.        If you use Windows Control Panel to change the default
  165.        printer while Capital Gainz is running, then you won't be
  166.        able to select a printer from Capital Gainz.
  167.        If you have trouble importing downloaded price files, try
  168.        increasing the FILES statement in your CONFIG.SYS (say, from
  169.        40 to 50).
  170.        Maximize does not work on Global Security, Broker/Inv Co,
  171.        Portfolio, or Security Type Tables.

  527. (2) Definitions: Capital Gainz is distributed in two forms. The
  528. 'Registered Version' of Capital Gainz implies payment of the
  529. registration fee, and includes an assigned serial number. The
  530. 'Evaluation Version' of Capital Gainz is obtained from a
  531. shareware disk vendor, friend or colleague, or an electronic
  532. bulletin board or other on-line service, and includes the phrase
  533. 'evaluation' or 'shareware' on the diskette label or the program
  534. sign-on message.

  536. (3) Evaluation Version: The Evaluation Version of Capital Gainz
  537. allows you to try the program before you pay for it. The
  538. Evaluation Version of Capital Gainz can be used at no charge for
  539. a period of up to 60 days. If you decide that you like Capital
  540. Gainz and want to continue using it beyond the 60 day trial
  541. period, you should purchase a Registered Version of Capital

  551. protected, and as many backup copies as deemed necessary are

  578. registered copies of Capital Gainz that the software will operate
  579. in accordance with the description given in the documentation,
  580. and that the distribution diskettes will be free of physical

  582. from the date of your purchase of Capital Gainz, David Lee Cohen
  583. will, subject to the restrictions above and below, repair or
  584. replace any defective item, or refund the purchase price of any
  585. diskette and/or any other parts or components of Capital Gainz
  586. found to be defective, if such defect is the fault of David Lee
  587. Cohen and not the result of misuse or abuse. Such a refund,
  588. repair, or replacement shall be your sole remedy for any defects,
  589. program error(s), or documentation error(s). In no event shall
